Treats For Your Indulgence

Imagine enjoying these treats along with your cup of rich, mellow Kona coffee. Or stash some chocolate covered Kona peaberry coffee beans in your glove compartment, desk, or briefcase. A handful of these will get you buzzing, just in time. We obtain these delicacies from the very best growers and processors on the island. Our chocolate covered extra large macadamia nuts are grown on the Hamakua coast, near the Waipio valley. The peaberry coffee beans grown at several estates in Kona are separated from the other four sizes of coffee beans and roasted in Kealakekua. Both the macadamia nuts and peaberry beans are coated, layer by layer, with silky, semisweet chocolate in Kealakekua. Our salted macadamia nuts are grown on one of the world's largest single macadamia nut orchards with nearly 4,000 acres in South Kona.

Dry Roasted Macadamia Nuts

After the nuts are picked from under the tree, the outer, fibrous husk is removed exposing the warm brown shell inside. The nut (in-shell) is dried to shrink the nut inside. Then the hard outer shell is cracked so the soft white nut inside can be removed. The nuts, mostly wholes and halves, are then dry-roasted to perfect crispness and salted. Available in 8 and 16 ounce zip locked pouches to maintain freshness.
